Leo has a large, well balanced frame which is still filling out. He has two socks and a stripe/blaze. He is very kind and sweet, and always tries to please. He still has some residual anxiety from the track, but this is constantly improving as he gains confidence and understands what is being asked.
He naturally has very nice movement, is learning to carry himself properly and showing some elevation and suspension in his gaits. We've spent considerable time helping him learn how to move correctly on the flat. He has lightly jumped a few times, but it seems he's happier and more suited to dressage.
He will need a rider with experience and patience that can recognize his generosity and not mistake it for something else. He tries very hard (a common trait of his Tiz Wonderful pedigree) but he can become nervous in a new situation and requires a patient tactful ride. This issue continues to improve. There is undoubtedly much left to discover and develop as he becomes more established and gains confidence in his new job.
