Scrappy - Jose Jalepeno

Scrappy aka Jose Jalepeno, is a 11 yr, 16.1 hh, bay, un-raced, TB gelding. He is a fairly easy ride on the flat and to fences with an adjustable canter, a tidy jumping technique, and lead changes. He enjoys work and tries to please. He has some show experience, schooled XC, and been on trails. We think he could perform well in several disciplines- dressage, H/J and eventing. No vices, easy to handle, loads and trailers well. Somewhat atypical for a thoroughbred - he has wonderful feet is a very ‘good-doer’ tending to get chubby. Current price: sub $20k

Causeway is currently semi-retired.  He has competed in jumpers and dressage, though these days he needs to stay with dressage and light work.  He is a powerful horse with big forward movement.

Dark bay, 16hh  11y.o  TB mare

Chestnut, 16hh , older TB mare.

Myrtle gets ridden from time to time and would enjoy more riding than she gets.  Nice movement, easy to ride, though she occasionally is opinionated right at the start.  Jumping small starter level fences.  She has very old completely set osselets, of no consequence.  We see her fitting a job as a starter to lower level horse, with or without competition.

She has the option of retiring back to our farm if and when needed.

Bay, 16.3hh, 5y.o TB gelding.

Very flashy with lots of chrome.  Recently retired from racing.  Learning his new job and just started over fences.  He has a loose soft movement and a kind temperament.  He is one that may well switch to the "Keepers" string

Gray, 15.3hh, 15y.o TB  gelding.

Gradey has been with us for years including a brief stint as a steeplechaser. He absolutely loves to jump, and we see him as a jumper up to about the 3'6" level.  He could also event as he does have a very cute way of going on the flat.

Gradey has the option of retiring back to our farm later if needed, but he appears to have plenty he'd like to do before then.
